M.E. Strougthon, Alexandria und das Union

M.E. Strougthon, der Autor des Romans "Alexandria" , hat uns freundlicherweise diese uralte Menükarte des "The Union" aus dem Alexandria des Jahres 1927 zur Kenntnisnahme übersandt. Handelte es sich doch um jenes berühmte Restaurant im besagten Roman. Wir möchten sie daher unseren Lesern nicht vorenthalten:

Certainly, also, he could confirm that little had changed 1969 in the Union Menue, when he and his friend Santwaller, the befriended heros of "Alexandria" used to dine at the place.
